I thank you so much for all the gifts, and all the opportunities you have given to me. You led me everyday, so that I have not been distracted to the way of evil and been walked along with Your path. Everytime I struggle, You have been my helper, friend, and my father. Though I am a bad sinner, You never let me alone so that I could turn my life to You again. How can I explain Your love and mercy.

  Father, forgive all the sins I've made before You. I want to come to you again. I want to be with you again. Now, I come to you because I, again, realize that I cannot live my life without your help. I was arrogant, and I beg your forgiveness. You gave me great opportunity to study abroad, but I've been easily steeped into earthly things that you don't like and keep forgetting your love. I ask you to make me clean again, and let me live with you. I love you so much, Lord. I know that only you can make me clean and forgive my filthy sins. Don't let me commit the same things that I'd been keep making.

  O my Lord, I am so afraid about all the things that I will face. Although, I believe that you have all the plans I cannot even imagine and lead me to the perfect way, timid I have anxieties in my mind. Please give me a strong and sturdy mind, and fill all of my weaknesses. As a highschool student, make me study with eager and perseverance everyday, so that I won't be wasting the talents you gave to me.

  God, I pray for my family, and for all my relatives, and all my friends. Even if I'm now living far away from them, I love them. I ask you not to forget each one of those people that I know, and bless them. Also, bless all the people that I've met in the America, my host family, my friends, teachers, and my neighbors. And thank you for the opportunity for me to meet those wonderful people.
  I believe in my Lord, who has been, and will be guiding me to the right path.
  I prayed all of these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

  하늘에 계신 아버지, 지금 저 이렇게 기도합니다.
  주님께서 지금껏 제게 주신 모든 것, 그리고 허락하신 모든 기회들에 너무 감사합니다. 주님의 인도하심 따라서 지금까지 제가 나쁜 길로 빠지지 아니하고, 주님 안에서 잘 살 수 있었습니다. 제가 힘들어할 때 마다, 주님께서 저를 도와주셨고, 저의 친구, 저의 아버지가 되어주셨습니다. 주님 앞에 설 때면 정말 보잘 것 없는 죄인이지만, 저를 내버려두시지 않으셨고, 제가 주님께로 돌이킬 수 있도록 인도하셨습니다. 주님 주신 그 사랑과 인자하심을 어떻게 표현할 수 있을까요.

  아버지, 제가 지었던 모든 죄들을 용서해주세요. 주님께로 다시 돌아가고 싶습니다. 주님과 다시 함께하는 삶 살고 싶습니다. 주님과 멀어져, 교만하게 모든 일을 저 혼자서 시도해보려고 했으나, 할 수 없어 다시 주님 앞으로 나아갑니다. 주님께서 저로 하여금 해외에서 공부할 수 있는 큰 기회를 허락하셨는데, 저는 지금껏 주님이 원하지 않으시는 세상적인 것들에 마음이 빠졌었고, 허락하신 그 사랑을 금방 잊어버렸습니다. 하나님께서 저를 다시 깨끗케 만들어 주시길 바라며, 다시 그 인도하심 따라 살고 싶습니다. 주님, 정말 사랑합니다. 주님 한분만이 저의 더러운 죄악을 깨끗케 하심을 믿사오니, 허락하여 주시고, 제가 다시 같은 죄를 짓지 않도록 붙들어 주세요.

  나의 주님, 제가 겪게 될 모든 일들에 너무 무섭습니다. 하나님께서는 저를 향한 모든 계획이 있으시고, 저를 항상 가장 좋은 길로 인도하심을 제가 믿지만, 겁이 많은 저는 아직도 마음속에 불안함이 있습니다. 저에게 강건하고 담대한 믿음을 허락하시고, 저의 약한 부분을 채워주세요. 고등학생으로서, 제가 매일 열심히 공부할 수 있는 끈기 또한 허락하셔서, 주님께서 제게 주신 재능을 제가 낭비하지 않을 수 있게 해주세요.

  하나님, 한국에 있는 제 가족들을 위해, 친척들과 친구들을 위해도 기도합니다. 지금은 멀리 떨어져 살고, 볼 수 없지만, 모두 제가 사랑하는 사람들입니다. 그들 모두 잊지 마시고, 주님께서 항상 축복하여 주세요. 또한 미국에서 만난 모든 이들, 호스트 가족, 친구, 선생님들, 그리고 이웃들에게도 축복하여 주세요. 이렇게 좋은 사람들을 만날 수 있게 하심 또한 정말 감사합니다.
